Smells like molasses to me

I was nervous about the scent after reading some of the reviews but I liked it. Some people have said it smells like soy sauce, I eat a lot of soy sauce and I don't smell it at all. To me it smelled like molasses, slightly sweet and nutty with a hint of vanilla. I have also found the oil to be very soothing and warming. I usually use it on my stomach to help with cramps and bloating.

Pros
  • Made with organic sesame and olive oil.
Cons
  • A few minor things

Nourishing, pleasantly scented

I love this vata massage oil. I used to buy from Sarada and I still like the quality (types of herbs, amount of herbs, processing, etc.) and the smell of their oil is much better, but unfortunately they don't ship to the US anymore. This oil smells good. It smells earthy and I can smell a bit of a "salty" odor, but overall it's pretty neutral and nothing overpowering. All of these qualities are good for cotton, so I don't understand why people are complaining about the smell. :)

Pros
  • Gentle pressure and firmness of the massage grounds Vata and gives stability.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Grounding for troubled Vata when you're exhausted

My Ayurveda doctor recommended this to ground my Vata. We vatas have to deal with this combination of exhaustion due to ungrounded vata, which may appear as kapha but is not. If you're the jaded and energetic type, you might find rubbing it on your legs, chest, feet, armpits, and even your face and neck helpful. I love earthy scents, and that's probably because my constitution craves that grounding so much. I love flow yoga but need to do recovery yoga, I love driving but my body is holding me…

Pros
  • Banyan Oils are packaged in BPA-free, recyclable plastic containers.
Cons
