Quick repair of broken original belt clip. Note. It is helpful if you remove the battery pack from the radio before screwing the replacement clip onto the back panel.

I can't understand why the belt clip spring keeps detaching from the clip itself on this radio. This is poor workmanship and should be addressed with the manufacturer.

Baofeng needs to stabilize the pin in this clip when it slips and the clip falls apart. My friend and I lost a few pins this way. Now I used a hot piece of metal to melt the plastic on both ends of the pin to lock it in place.

This is the second Bao Feng bracket I have broken. I bought 10 packs and they are the perfect replacement. I put them away when I came across two of Bao Feng's belt clips that I wasn't using. Am I glad I bought them anyway? Yes. I have a lot of UV5Rs and will eventually need most of them.

The belt clips on the Baofeng UV-5R radios are their Achilles tendon. Two years later, one by one, they began to collapse. Basically the rod holding the parts slipped out. So I turned to Revain for a replacement and found this brand. No matter how hard I tried, the bars were fixed much more securely. For the price, these belt clips can't be beat.
