I like this suit, thick straps and skirt just above the knee on my 2.5 year old. The size is small. My toddler 2T/3T fits a size 3/4 perfectly, will definitely buy again. My daughter loves the textured flamingo tail and the colors which is an added bonus. Not wanting to take it off, she twisted her skirt. A very happy customer here. Please keep making these costumes. It's hard not to find age-appropriate swimwear for girls that doesn't look like a bikini or is overly grown-up (like cheetah spaghetti straps and cut-outs for 4-year-olds, anyone?) Me wasn't sure what the other reviewers meant by "modest" (I wasn't exactly looking for a fully closed swimsuit or anything super puritanical), but it's perfect. I can get by with my kid wearing this to the beach etc, but it still looks very much like a bathing suit - just more modest than what marketers expect…
