Good quality crimp connectors but fork blades are only 1.02mm wide when measured with vernier calipers. Too thin for some uses and blades bend easily when tightened. I have other brands with blades from 1.6mm to 1.7mm wide. They are stronger and carry more current.

I solder them each time for a secure connection and use some shrink tubing to reinforce the insulation. They work great for me. I used them to make some longer wires for my 3D printer heaters and now I have tons of extras. I'm tired of buying a bunch of Walmart kits that are full of connectors I don't need.

When dealing with stranded wire, crimp connectors are the way to go. The barrels are soft enough to be crimped with reasonable force but strong enough to securely clamp the wire. Plastic bushings grip the barrel while maintaining integrity. The quality is stable.

They are suitable for low current applications. The metal is quite thin, thinner than the brand. I found them pretty good for what I use them for. However, I wouldn't trust them for high currents. Also, like most others, they will fatigue and break if you bend them too much. So you should take this into account during installation.
