My daughter loves bath bombs and we thought this would be a great DIY project. Everything you need is included which is great. We found it a bit messy and they didn't set very well in the molds. Directions were easy to follow. The bathroom was fine. Some color came out and it hissed a little. I think my daughter expected more when we took a bath. In general, a normal project.

I don't recommend this product. And I'm very disappointed in that. It was part of my daughter's Christmas gifts and we never managed to get a bath bomb. The measuring spoon is missing because "tablespoon" and "teaspoon" are never easy to measure (even in cooking!), so it all becomes very vague. Regarding the scent, we applied 50% more drops than indicated, but there was no scent.

Happy to make baby's first bath bomb but very dirty, no noticeable smell and minimal color. Following the recipe, the mixture didn't stick together very well and didn't sizzle much. We make the rest of the bath bombs; I hope a better experience follows.

I think this set would be a great alternative to anything other than slime with my 8 year old. It was kind of a disappointment. Not only did it create a huge mess, the end product didn't take shape. The product still bubbled/fizzed and added color to the bath, but it wasn't as exciting when it came out in chunks as opposed to throwing a "bomb" into the water. My daughter was rather disappointed. I think we'll stick with the slime.

Made this with my 5 year old daughter. That works fine. You don't really need to add a lot of water, so just follow the directions and mix it all up with your hands. It is very difficult to remove the entire bomb from the mold. My daughter used her first creation in the bathroom and she loved it. The stencils are very cheap and don't work well, but she just painted the mica on with a brush and seemed happy.
