This was a very bad purchase. He is very nice and soft, but scales and rolls are everywhere. I've washed and dried it twice and can't stop shedding it! The bad news is that the duvet and the sheets that I dried afterwards are covered in little blue fluff. I give up and want my money back! It's nice in the box, but useless in real life. I would give half a star if I could.

The blanket is soft and light but that's the only thing that suits him. The attached photo shows the blanket after washing and drying. He's fluffing like crazy and it just seems to be getting worse, not better. I'll spend about 15 minutes carefully removing or vacuuming the lint, and still everything that touches the ceiling will be covered in lint. The seams have also come undone. This is a truly awful blanket.

This blanket is so, so soft and fluffy. I washed it when it arrived and took it on a trip with my husband. It was so cozy and warm and I loved it until I noticed it was shedding on my clothes. The sweater and leggings I was wearing that day are practically ruined - I just can't get all the stray fibers off of them, even after washing and machine drying. I strongly advise against buying these blankets. Each of the three I bought, pills and villi more than any item I have experienced. The pills/lint have spread to furniture throughout the house and to all clothing worn since I started using blankets. I've vacuumed a few items with moderate success. I've come to terms with the fact that the pills/fluff from these blankets will exist in my life for many years to come. don't be like me Don't buy blankets.

Having ordered about 6 of these duvets including 2 newer double sizes (the rest were larger) my best conclusion is that as a newbie you will never find anything better than they are . This is a very nice and soft comforter which I hope will make a good mattress pad and topper for my king size bed. I love the "calm" colors (which complement my duvet cover) and the softness of this duvet.
