Works exactly as it should.

Bought this to drain my shower. I had hoped everything was as described and pictured. When it arrived I was thrilled to see there were no surprises. Very high quality processed, I've been using it for almost 2 years without any complaints.

Well done, works great.

Very well made from thick plastic so I don't have to worry about leakage. The handle is thick for easy carrying when full. Five gallons is five gallons, so don't expect it to hold more. It's perfect for converting the gray water in my utility trailer to a camper.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Sturdy and functional small gray water tank

I was looking for a smaller gray water tank to collect the waste water from the galley wash. The size and shape of this device is the perfect choice for me. I place the device in the back of my car and take it complete to a recycling facility. The hose supplied to connect to the trailer outlet is useless as it is too long and stiff to fit between the tank and the outlet. The red plug covering the air intake was quickly lost, so I have to be careful when carrying a full block to avoid spilling…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not all fit

Terrible design flaw - stinky water everywhere

This would be a great tank if a major design flaw could be fixed: Currently the air pressure relief port has a cap that fits loosely. The moment you try to move a full tank, the lid comes off and smelly water splashes everywhere. I tried to solve the problem by gluing the cap onto the tank once it was full. This worked somewhat, but the manufacturer was able to easily fix the problem by replacing the screw cap with a screw cap. Aside from this horrible design flaw, the overall build quality of…

ok not great Decent capacity for 1-2 people greywater. does the job.

I chose the 5 gallon gray water tank because I can still lift it when it's full. On a solo hike, I can manage 3-4 days between bowel movements. The tank is fine. Basically it does the job. My main criticism is the lid. I don't think the functionality justifies the $45-$50 price tag. At first I had trouble screwing the lid on tight and not leaking. The rubber washer holding the lid slips out when I tighten the lid. This is important because there are two holes cut into the washing machine: one…
