🔌 Micro USB Cable for Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet Review

I have two colors of Nook. I have an original cable. I ordered this cable as a gift. This is a standard USB cable. I'll come and do the data transfer. BUT WILL NOT CALCULATE. Compared to the original cable, the micro USB blade is (the end that fits the device is shorter than the original). Some of the posts listed say there are instructions if it doesn't charge. Terrible. I bought 2 of these and they don't work at all. You can flush money down the toilet with equal success. Update: Apparently they work. Very, very slowly. Nook doesn't show it's loading. It takes 3 hours to fully charge a regular Nook cable. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge this cable.

This should be a cable specifically designed to charge a Barnes & Noble Nook tablet. The tablet did not charge when first used. I assumed the tablet was bad as I couldn't charge it with this one or the one that came with it. Once I found that the tablet was fine, the original cable was bad and the new cable was not an official Barnes & Noble Nook cable, it was too late to return it. . The first cable I bought said it was compatible with Barnes & Noble Nook. Maybe, but it didn't work on my Nook Color Reader. It looked like a great general purpose USB cable. I found another one that indicated it was compatible with my Nook Color reader. It worked fine. The main visual/physical difference is that the Nook Color has an LED light at the base of the larger end.
