. The first cable I bought said it was compatible with Barnes & Noble Nook. Maybe, but it didn't work on my Nook Color Reader. It looked like a great general purpose USB cable. I found another one that indicated it was compatible with my Nook Color reader. It worked fine. The main visual/physical difference is that the Nook Color has an LED light at the base of the larger end. If you need one for an older Nook Color or Nook Tablet, make sure it's compatible with Nook Color. read reviews.
