Requires more leverage

Just the right amount to transfer the power of this 127" monster to the steering wheel. Getting ready? It requires more manual force to press the clutch lever.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Functionality

Heavy duty means heavy duty

Works great, has a strong grip, no more slouching, if released quickly it will slam. The only thing is that the clutch lever gets HEAVY. Bad traffic hurts your hand, but it's worth it, even in non-stop traffic.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Little things

This worked great for clutches

I beefed up my 103cc road bike with a Fuelpak FP3 exhaust and other mods. The clutch began to slip in high gears. This spring has taken its toll. Barnet have been around since the 60's and make quality parts.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Update available

This is a big step up from the standard spring and .

This is a major improvement over the stock spring and you will need a strong hold if you get stuck in traffic when it is installed on your bike. That's why I wore the Burly Brand Easy-boy Lite Clutch.

Cons
  • Not sure

Lots of extra pressure over the standard

If you race I'm sure it's great. But if you're at a red light, plan to put it in neutral so your hand doesn't cramp when trying to hold the clutch lever. I bought this with new Kevlar clutch discs, they'll last even longer, but I had no idea how much force it takes to depress the clutch lever. I plan to reset the inventory.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • unreliable

A strong little spring

The clutch disc spring is a beast. It is approximately 25% stronger than the standard diaphragm spring that Harley uses on their bikes. This makes the clutch handle a real bear to pull. With a 10% stronger diaphragm spring you would be better off than them. Your hand would feel better. The only time I would advise this spring is if you're using a hydraulic clutch, it's not that bad.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad
