80% Leather, 20% Nylon. Imported. Vibram sole. Shaft measures approximately mid-calf from arch. The OPS10 platform with 10mm heel drop for athletic performance. YKK side zipper for quick on/off. Vibram rubber outsole with PU core. E05580: AR670-1 compliant. X40 Ortholite removable cushioned insert for added comfort in every step. Quantum5 keeps the foot cooler. Paracord 550 Mil Spec laces. Strobel construction plus 3mm foam insole. Molded PU midsole delivers superior cushioning.

Not Worth the Cost for Protection

This product falls short in both comfort and effectiveness. While it CLAIMS to provide safety, I found it to be bulky and restrictive. The extra cost also doesn't seem justified, especially since there are similar products out there for cheaper. As someone in the Industrial and Scientific field, I was disappointed in the Bates Maneuver Safety Black Extra. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I will be looking elsewhere for my personal protective equipment needs..

Great Protection for Maneuvers!

As a result of my tests, I determined that this safety equipment is top notch .You won't have to worry about injuring yourself while carrying out difficult maneuvers..

Sizing system disabled

I wear extra wide size 11. Extra wide should be about 4.5 inches. The first attempt was too small, the second attempt was to order 11.5 EW. The length might have worked, but the boot said EW and the width was just over 4 inches. Felt like standing on a 2x4.
