I love everything about these lamps: transparency, brightness and length. They were perfectly packaged in a little box, they even came with some extra batteries and there were 3 in each cork! I took a few photos so you can better appreciate the brightness and length. I'll update my battery life review in a few months, hope they last, we'll see.

I wasn't very interested until I saw a craft stall with a lady selling these lighted wine bottles with personalized labels. Some of them were for Halloween decorations and looked very cool. I ordered them and my first project was to put them in a bottle of Dom Perignon that I saved from our engagement 8 years ago. Everything looks much prettier with backlighting. Batteries are already installed but they offer extra batteries which is a good idea.

My daughter told me she wanted to poke a hole in the bottom of the wine bottle so she could put a light in it. As? How can you do that without breaking the bottle? Then I saw these, cool! I was surprised when I opened the little box with the kits and extra batteries! It is great! The only downside is they don't fill a big bottle. No complaints. I have the same feelings as many other positive reviews. The cork fits a standard wine bottle and I used an orange Fall themed bottle from the Dollar Store. It looks very nice. However, I have found that most of the time I stick a "cork" to the underside of a jar's removable lid. I decorate empty tin cans seasonally with colors or decoupage. I can unscrew the lid to turn the light on or off. In addition, the entire string is protected from the weather when the lid is closed.

I am very happy with these lamps. I received my second order for them yesterday. They look so pretty in my green wine bottles and in my only blue bottle they look like stars in the night sky. I saw some polished rocks in the craft department at Walmart and I'm going to buy them and stick one on each cork as a little decoration. So great to have. I saw someone selling a few bottles of this and wanted to make my own. I was lucky and found her here on Revain. Each of them has a chain of 20 lightbulbs. They look great in a decorative bottle. I have a set in a dark blue bottle and tried to take a picture but because the bottle was so dark it wasn't enough to post. It even came with extra batteries.
