Save money! Get additional accessories

I've already bought a Bayco extension to get to the stairwell light. Really scary place to try and place stairs. I was able to use a Bayco wand/extension instead. However, the bulb got stuck (after 10 years of operation) and detached from the socket. What now! Didn't want an expensive electric bill. Bayco's broken lightbulb changer is here to help. Two sizes of "nipples" for small LED and large standard bulbs made it easy to remove that broken bulb. Now I have a complete kit for all light…

Not so bad!: Lighting and ceiling fans

He got the job done. The light bulb in my oven broke and I didn't want to use pliers to pull it out so I bought these. He loosened the base by twisting it several times before extracting the shaft. However, he twisted it enough that I could grab it from the outside and twist it completely. So no, it's not enough to completely remove the stuck base, but it can loosen it enough for you to do the rest. Work. I'm not sure what I would do if it was on the ceiling and I couldn't reach it. It's also a

DOES NOT WORK AS RECOMMENDED. There are two tools in this pack and it is advertised as being able to remove both regular and candelabra bulbs that go bad in the socket. The smallest tool included in this set is AT LEAST 2 TIMES LARGER than can be used to remove a candelabra light bulb base. My photo shows the tip of the smallest tool compared to the size of the broken candelabra bulb base, which I was eventually able to remove with tweezers and a paper towel. I'm keeping the product in case I…

My problem was resolved about five minutes after opening the box

I had a big problem with a broken lamp stem that got stuck in a tiny chandelier socket. A photo of the little intruder is attached. I tried several suggestions from around the web (yes, including potatoes) and nothing worked. This little thing didn't move. With this product, I was literally able to pull out five minutes after opening the packaging of Revain. Very easy to use and I'm far from a mechanical genius. A NOTICE. The rubber tip didn't go into the socket, but I squeezed it and pushed it

Suitable for floor lamps

The lamp in the ceiling light broke when I changed it. I've tried every method I could find on the internet to remove the stuck base (potatoes, pliers, duct tape, etc.). When these methods didn't work, I ordered this remedy. It was easy to use and the base came out with very little effort. Notable: The fixture was the main ceiling fixture on a standard height ceiling. I only needed a stepladder to get there and I was able to hold the tool in my hand. It might have been more difficult if I had…

Make sure you have space and it works great.

I have a broken light bulb in the backlight under the microwave, the light is out of range. The socket sits in a small recess and faces away from me. There was no glass left in the base for the potato trick, which I never tried. I unplugged the MW and tried to pry the base out with tools, but I couldn't see what I was doing due to the position and there isn't enough room in the recess to put even the smallest screwdriver where I did which could bend base enough to be able to put pliers on it…

  • Material type: Plastic
Cons
  • Something else

If you know how this works, you can ignore my attempt to describe it to consumers like me who ordered it blind or just based on the reviewers' overall positive recommendation. As shown in the picture, you will get two phallic shaped objects: one for regular sockets; one for small candelabra sockets. Each is covered with a black rubber prophy tip that you insert into the corresponding socket with the broken bulb. The smaller tip fits inside the larger tip and has a screw for attaching: 1…
