I wear American Large which fits me, where American Medium means fitted. I ordered an XL based on other reviews. I just tried it on, the shirt fits me like a US Small. The purple is the blue-purple in the picture but the brownish-red purple. A little burgundy. Not what I wanted. I will give it to my child but I am very disappointed.

This shirt runs at least one size smaller. Actually I ordered 2XL and they sent 3XL. That's a good thing, because the 3XL hardly comes close to the 2XL.
