Cheap bandages and tape that don't stick.

I was initially happy with my purchase. It seemed to come with everything I needed for hiking or mountain biking. I'll preface the negative experience detailed below to say that I've never had this much trouble with bandages sticking. Quality bandages stick with no problems. I first had to use the kit yesterday while mountain biking. I fell and scraped my knee, which started dripping blood. I opened the kit to treat the wound before it could bleed all over the place. I cleaned the wound with…

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The contents of the kit may not be suitable for everyone, as individuals may have unique medical needs

Purchased August 2020. Read alot of reviews and recommendations while searching for a small first aid kit (NB: I said first aid kit, AKA "boo boo kit," NOT TRAUMA KIT. I have one of those I built myself for range days and home emergency use - completely different kettle of fish, so stop griping about fitting a CAT tourniquette in here) for my backpack when out camping and hiking. Settled on this one based on OutdoorGearLab's supposed "Best Kit Overall" and Revain's Choice ratings, as well as…

Pros
  • PORTABLE AND FUNCTIONAL FIRST AID KIT: Made with removable MOLLE compatible straps, snaps and advanced mounting system. Features D-rings so it can be attached to almost any surface. Perfect for cars, trucks, boats and more.
Cons
  • The kit is not environmentally friendly, as many of the items are single-use and not recyclable

Well thought out and very USABLE

In both of my jobs as an adventure travel guide and window cleaner, I need to keep a first-aid kit at hand at all times. This is in addition to my other outdoor interests: cycling, inline skating, paddling and motorcycling where I'm seldom without a few first-aid supplies. I've purchased and made many first aid kits over the years from one-quart freezer bags that I filled for a specific need to very expensive, more comprehensive kits that were always too heavy, too bulky and seldom necessary…

Pros
  • LABELLED FIRST AID KIT COMPARTMENTS: Labelled and organized inner compartments make it easy to find what you need in the case of an emergency. No more rummaging or making a mess to find the supplies you need.
Cons
  • The kit is not particularly portable, making it difficult to take on camping or hiking trips

Well thought out and sized first aid kit for hiking

The inside is organized and efficient in compactness without sacrificing utility. I really like the extra bobby-pins - a small thing that I don't see a lot of other first kits adding in that has a lot of uses. The extra pouch for personal first aid kit items stands out. Everyone has different needs and being able to properly accommodate yourself or others on an outing shows the thoughtfulness put in to the product. I've found myself trying to find how to put special allergy medicine or other…

Pros
  • Safety & Survival
Cons
  • There are many similar first aid kits on the market that offer similar products for a lower price

More Room Than It Appears

I purchased this first aid kit to keep in my emergency bag. Thankfully, I have not needed to use any of the items at this point, so I cannot speak directly to the quality of the bandages, etc. The bag itself is good quality, and the sheers and tweezers are metal, not plastic. As a result, I am not concerned that the other items will work well if and when the time comes to use them.I will admit that I was somewhat disappointed when the kit arrived. Although I wanted something compact, the bag…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The kit may give people a false sense of security, as it's impossible to prepare for every emergency scenario

Perfect for our Go-Bag

If you've been thinking about getting a first aid kit for your car, boat, rv, house, or go-bag. stop looking. you've found an awesome kit at a great price, from an U.S. family-owned company. I ordered two kits for our Go-Bags. When the wildfires hit, we were in an evacuation zone. I had so much peace of mind knowing we had a well stocked first-aid kit with us. It comes with some cool features and tools. The one I got is compact, but carries a ton of stuff. It comes with a survival whistle and…

Pros
  • First Aid Kits
Cons
  • The kit is not customizable, meaning that users cannot swap out items they don't need for ones they do

Probably not worth $36

As a first aid kit, I'd say this is just "ok". Molle compatible was important to me and that's what I searched for. Quality of components is also important and that's what I expected. I chose the lower priced one because I only needed the basics and a smaller form-factor. I haven't looked at the items included too carefully, but, based on the bandages, I'd say they found the cheapest, lowest quality items they could find. If you buy this kit, you should ditch the bandages and get your own…

Pros
  • Perfect for my wife's car. I am probably going to buy another for my car too.
Cons
  • This item is not that bad but there are more better options out there.

Small enough to carry on back pack.

I bought this as part of a small pack for my car, Just in case. It's very basic but perfect for what I need it for. The pack itself is of good quality, could easily be attached to pistol/gun belt, or back pack (military) as an small IFAK. Needs a Tourniquet which I'll add.

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • The casing of the kit is not particularly durable and may break easily

Perfect First Aid Kit for Outdoors

According to my experience, this premium first aid kit from Surviveware is a must-have for all sports and outdoors enthusiasts. It contains everything you need for emergencies and is compact enough to easily bring on any camping or hiking trip. The kit is well-organized and the labeling makes it easy to quickly find what you need. The only con is that the case is not waterproof, but it's not a big deal if you store it in a sealed plastic bag. Overall, I highly recommend this comprehensive first

Pros
  • Comprehensive kit with a wide range of items to address most emergency situations
Cons
  • Some may find the kit too bulky to carry for outdoor activities or travel
