Review on πŸ₯ Surviveware 100 Piece Premium First Aid Kit – Ideal for Trucks, Cars, Camping, Office, Sports, and Outdoor Emergencies by Chris Destruction

Well thought out and very USABLE

In both of my jobs as an adventure travel guide and window cleaner, I need to keep a first-aid kit at hand at all times. This is in addition to my other outdoor interests: cycling, inline skating, paddling and motorcycling where I'm seldom without a few first-aid supplies. I've purchased and made many first aid kits over the years from one-quart freezer bags that I filled for a specific need to very expensive, more comprehensive kits that were always too heavy, too bulky and seldom necessary. Did I mention EXPENSIVE.The biggest issue I have is not replenishing items that I use from a kit in a timely manner. This has nothing to do with the kit; it's all me. When I saw this kit with every compartment labeled, I could tell it would be much easier to remember what I'd used and quickly check to see what needs replacing. The outstanding organization and presentation is what sets this kit above the half-dozen other kits I currently have. The size and weight are very manageable, and it's easy to get to whatever may be needed inside with just a glance. There is just enough room to add a few extra items as necessary. I added a signaling mirror, a few individually packaged OTC meds, two extra pair of latex gloves (small, zip plastic bags are included for your own meds), single-use packets of sunblock and a ballpoint pen with a sheet of folded paper for notes. The combination of snap and hook-and-loop closures on the back (90 degrees to each other!) is well designed and very functional.Having been in contact with Survivorware since purchasing this, I feel very good about doing business with a small company who offers outstanding customer service and seems to really care about taking care of their customers. I'm ordering a second kit to permanently leave in my motorcycle luggage.

Pros
  • LABELLED FIRST AID KIT COMPARTMENTS: Labelled and organized inner compartments make it easy to find what you need in the case of an emergency. No more rummaging or making a mess to find the supplies you need.
Cons
  • The kit is not particularly portable, making it difficult to take on camping or hiking trips
