Best product for shiny jewelry

I love this stuff. It coats the inside of glass jewelry better than anything I've used, giving a crystal clear finish that shines through. I've tried podge mod, floor sealer, craft glue, polyacrylate, nothing worked as well as this. It's expensive, yes, but it's MADE for the purpose and worth every penny.

Pros
  • art supplies
Cons
  • flimsy

Works perfectly; but this SMOKE

I followed the directions, made some embellishments (which turned out to be really amazing, that glue does a great job) but embellishment #3 gave me dizzy spells and I realized that I had to work fast. I opened the window and turned on the fan. Ornament #12 made me sick. Too bad there was no warning! Pros: My shiny jewelry looks great. Cons: My last remaining brain cells were killed by this glue.

good glitter glue for jewelry

I've been making jewelry for many years and have always used floor wax. Floor wax works best, but it's really messy and sticky. tried it out this year. It's much easier and cleaner, so definitely the way to go if you have kids to help you. I do notice that the sheen is thinner with it, but not so much that it's a problem. Do not use the fine nozzle to spray the material as it will create foam. Remove the entire cap and pour slowly for best results.

Expensive but holds up

Bought this for Christmas so I'm sure it was a bit overpriced. Ideal for making shiny jewellery. You really have to twist to get each piece in and drain the excess for a minute (I used a plastic container and put the excess back in the bottle). Otherwise you will end up with a mottled finish and/or a heavy shine underneath. The smell is really strong, like super glue mixed with floor wax. In general it works fine, I will use it again.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • A few little things
