Griffin is cool when it comes to beading

Griffin is best for stringing your own beads. You can use half a knot between each bead. Make sure you close the front clasp securely. Use some Orly Bonder Nail Sealant to seal the ends. Then you have Orly Binder for your nails!

Pros
  • Model number: BCSWH06G
Cons
  • Hard to tell

I made it myself, I made it myself!)!

I have pulled these strings several times but they never held up due to their weight. I decided to learn how to weave beads through YouTube. I looked at various weight bearing strings and decided that #6 would do. It turned out pretty nice. I'm inspired to design another one.

Pros
  • Bead and jewelry making
Cons
  • String is shorter than others

Silk thread is the best choice for beads and knots

I've searched everywhere for silk thread and cord for beads and found nothing, only polyester. Newsflash: Polyester or synthetic thread is very bad. Pearls look best when embellished with really good quality thread, and silk looks best. The strength of silk is phenomenal for its very small size. I will not use anything else with the beautiful freshwater pearls I use.

Pros
  • Beading Accessories
Cons
  • Vanish

Good strong cord easy to use

The cord itself is very strong. The needle is a little weak (like a "folding" beading needle) so after pushing the bead past it a bit I pulled it all the way out, holding on to the cord itself, not the needle, and it worked . It was also easy to get a nice tight knot next to the bead without any tools. I was able to thread and tie two 20" necklaces using 8mm beads, leaving about 12".

Pros
  • Beadwork cords and threads
Cons
  • No instructions
