Using pliers, I transplanted a dangling pair of earrings onto this non-pierced earring. I had no major issues and the end result looked great. I like the screw function because I can adjust the tightness. In a word, I highly recommend this product.

Finally! I can wear gift earrings from my friends and relatives who always buy me earrings! I like the screw type so I can adjust the pressure. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the earrings face the wrong way (sideways) when you put them through the metal ring - you have to turn the small ring so that it's horizontal instead of vertical, so that the earring sits correctly!

This is a great invention from the 50's because I remember my whole family wore these earrings because of problems with allergies to silver and sometimes to gold if it wasn't 24K. They also adjust the pressure and avoid the discomfort that some clamps give you because they are too tight or too loose. And although all the women in my family have had their ears pierced since childhood, they bought them and avoided the above problems.
