Description of Beadalon Collapsible Needles 2 5 Inch Medium

Flexible. Particularly nice for stringing beads that have very small holes. Extra-spring wire is kink-resistant. Specially designed eye that automatically collapses and instantly reshapes when it is pulled through the bead. The large eye is easy to thread and accommodates many sizes of cord.

Not very durable.

I am neither a professional jeweler nor an amateur. When the tiger eye bracelet my wife gave me broke, I decided to fix it myself and bought these beading pins to use. I'm glad I bought the multipack because the very first needle I took out broke while threading it! The second was enough for me to fix the bracelet. With any luck I won't need them anymore.

Suitable for stringing peyote seeds

Very flexible making it easy to cast 11/0 beads with one hand. Surprisingly Durable: I pull my rope quite hard and the grommets have withstood my rough use. Of course, with such big eyes, it is easy to knit. I like that the shaft of the needle has some texture (like a screw?) so I can tell when I'm in the bead and when I've missed the scratchy feel. These needles are so good that if I drop them I need good light and reading glasses to find them.

  • Disappearing

Once you've tried this, you'll be hooked!

I couldn't find them for years! I used to make jewelry for an art studio and use it at work. VERY happy to have found her again! They make beads so easy! I love them because they are thin, flexible and fit through "almost" any bead opening. They are also very easy to refill! They will not return to their original position, once fully bent in half they are difficult to bend back open. I have not rated their durability as it depends on your own use and rough treatment.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Some bugs
