I have been teaching jewelry for many years and I retie many broken bracelets. Elasticity is the only elastic I use because it holds up so much better than other brands I've tried. However, it is too big for small beads or gems.

I'm not a bead or jewelery maker so take my review with a grain of caution, but this cord is not suitable for attaching a bracelet if the beads have small holes (eg Bracelet Mantras/Chakras). I used a square knot with a dab of E-6000 glue and while it holds and is strong, the knot is large and cannot be hidden in the bead's hole.

I love this stuff! I made a mother of pearl and rose quartz bracelet, put a medal on it, beautiful. I think for the size of the stones I had to use a thinner elastic so I could hide the knot in the bead but still it's really pretty and the knot is not visible when worn. But the product is great. Yes I would recommend and it arrived quickly.
