Love Anvil

I really like this anvil. This has worked so well for me on my projects. My projects are quite small so this is the perfect size. I was very surprised how heavy it is. You wouldn't believe it weighs that much, but it's good that it weighs. Because unlike others I've tried, this one doesn't slip for me.

Pros
  • Ideal for shaping artificial wire and precious metal wire
Cons
  • No power

Cute and Tiny - (Altoids or matchbox size)

Very Very Cute. Haven't used it yet but it looks solid and is a good weight. I advise you to use a tape measure to check what you're getting yourself into. The shaping areas at the two ends are too small to put finger sized loops on, but they seem to work well for hooks and links.

Pros
  • Anvil is required to craft Beadalon Faux Wire Hook and Eye Flat Clasps
Cons
  • High Price

Hard enough?

Turns out I didn't use it as much as the stainless steel bench I bought at the same time. I'm sure it has its uses, but so far I've hardly used it. It's also quite small when you actually hold it in your hand. Other than that it seems solid, really no complaints about the product, it just wasn't as useful as I thought it would be.

Pros
  • A round horn and a flat horn with a hole for riveting and bending
Cons
  • Some little things
