Not for my purpose on ball bearings

I bought them online for an application that needed a close tolerance bearing. These bearings made the fan motor noisier than with the failed bearing. but they can be good for inline skates

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

They are a perfect match for Power Transmission products

Unusual use of bearings but we have used them to replace rollers on gates. The original was a plastic cylinder that wore out quickly. So basically used as roller skates. They've replaced those things with three in the app, and I'm willing to bet they'll still work well for years to come.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • No automatic

OK, for shielded bearings.

They were purchased to replace my Wen band saw. They hold up well on the top rail but fail fairly quickly on the bottom rail. I attribute this to sawdust penetrating the shields covering the orbs. I recommend using sealed bearings for the lower bandsaw guides and these for the upper ones. A trick to lubricate them better is to soak them in a container of oil before use. The oil seeps into the balls.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
