The sponge I received was NOT the original beauty blender. It's much smaller and seems like a terribly cheap material. I've had a lot of beauty blenders in the past and this isn't it.

This is definitely not a real beauty blender. I have been using Sephora and Ulta beauty blenders for many years. I can't imagine them doing that. It's just not possible; it doesn't blend properly and absorbs all of the foundation. I only bought it here because of the pandemic. Now I have to use my finger because it works better than this junk. I used it to apply concealer around my eyes and after a few weeks of occasional use (I don't use makeup every day) small bits started falling off around the tip. Also, every time I rinsed the sponge, the water was bright pink! I bought it because of all the rave reviews I've read in every magazine I seem to have looked through - but surely they can't be how they're supposed to work? Very disappointing.

These blenders are not made by a beauty blender company; they are fake brand. The plastic container says "Original Beaty Blender Makeup Sponge" and the REAL Beauty Blender box says "wet.squeeze.bounce" under the name. The differences between the real one and this one are very noticeable after removing it from the case. The Beautyblender is designed to expand when wet. It's not, so it's fake. It's also not the same consistency as the original. Sorry, my beauty blender is dirty. But these two are both wet, and the REAL ONE is on the left and has increased in size. DO NOT BUY COUNTERFEIT!

Tried this because of the reviews of how great it is. IT IS TERRIBLE! I washed it after use and let it air dry and after about the 3rd wash and dried I noticed little black spots on it and realized it was mold growing! Did some research and everyone who bought this item happened. I'm in the garbage right now. Don't buy this.

I used it as soon as I got it. It doesn't stretch as much as my original beauty blender. I started not buying it but buying the one that is sold separately. In my experience, if something is offered at a significant discount, it is not an original product. I also applied some concealer on the first application. I couldn't wash everything. I have both liquid and solid soap. I was very gentle and the wash brush tore it up easily. I just received it yesterday. I will still buy the original and see

The Original Beauty Blenders are amazing and will fix just about any makeup mistake or gimmick by blending it for the gods! This makeup tool really gives your makeup a nice airbrushed look. It can be used with any type of makeup, cream foundations, setting powders, eyeshadows, pigments, eyeliners, etc. Fake beauty blenders don't work as well as they aren't made from the same space-age materials. A great addition to my makeup kit as it is a multi purpose sponge. I fell in love with him immediately. I mainly use it as foundation and concealer and it applies fantastically. A real airbrush finish, no wrinkles and very soft when applied to the face. It is best to use it wet, also for powder.
