Cheap metal support.

Cheap metal for supports. It turned out to be curved, not round. Spot welding also holds the post together. Not sure if it will last.

Made German! in water pumps

This is the third water pump I have replaced on my son's car. The rest were Chinese and drove another 6,000 miles each. I have high hopes and this pump seems to be of a much higher quality. So far, so good.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

German made water pump

This will be my third water pump on my 528i, the first two had a plastic impeller and bearings which last a maximum of two years. I hope this German Made in Germany prolongs my life, I'm really good at changing them now.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons

Excellent product, best engine cooling and air conditioning

Has been on my 2002 BMW 530i E39 for at least a few months and works great. I suggest replacing the thermal clutch fan when replacing the water pump. I spoke badly about the pump until realizing that my clutch fan had completely failed and was making noises like the water pump was about to fail. Sorry for the first review 2 months ago.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

installed correctly on 2000 323i

The water pump works and can easily be mounted on a 2000 BMW 323i. The impeller is die-cast aluminum, not plastic as shown in the picture. I heard that my original pump has a plastic impeller and is prone to breakage. So I replaced. And I found out that the original impeller is a pressed sheet metal with some kind of glue. I keep them in reserve as they are still good. Complete with oring.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Very good so far! best spare parts

The water pump I received has a metal impeller and is the Geba brand made in Germany. It's a lot better than what I've read where others say it's plastic, polymer or made in China, so good news for now. Not installed yet but looks good although a few veins look like the metal has chipped - I don't think this will affect performance as the chipped parts don't get in the way when it's spinning and pumping water. I will update this once I fit and live with this water pump in my 1997 BMW M3.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Some problems

Fits my 2005 BMW X3 3.0i

Had to replace my radiator after 160,000 miles so I decided to replace all other parts of the Factor Cooling system such as hoses and water pump. It was easy to replace and install like a factory water pump. If I had known that the factory model water pump had a plastic impeller, I would have bought a pump with a plastic impeller. A metal impeller should work for this model, and both materials have their pros and cons. I hope it lasts at least twice as long as the factory water pump. The pump…

Fits my 2006 BMW X5 3.0

Fits my 2006 BMW X5 3.0 The thermostat failed and I decided to replace the water pump while removing the fan and cover as it is a mechanical part, which is prone to deformation and failure. I did some research and chose Beck Arnley over AC Delco and so far I have no regrets. It has been running smoothly and in a few weeks of operation so far there have been no leaks or heat issues. All metal construction and bearings feel solid on the new part. I was glad I decided to replace it along with the…

driven 4 km. Yes, 4 miles.

Fitted on a 2006 BMW X3. This is the second one I've bought in 2 weeks. The first came with a bent impeller which could not be used as it was so bent it must have been thrown away when I returned it. So I got this one as a replacement. It lasted 4 miles before it started to rattle and I found the bearing failed after driving to work twice which is 1 mile. I missed my return window because the car wasn't drivable enough as we have other cars and I drove one of them instead of this car. Anyway, I
