Excellent replacement part.

Fixed a leak on my 2000 VW Jetta 2.0L 4 cylinder engine. Spare part in high quality at a low price. Don't use RTV with that, I've seen a few DIY videos where they do this. Covering with rtv can actually lead to a leak. All in all a quick and easy job.

Very Good Product Best in Category Water Pump Fittings & Accessories

So far so good. Comes with everything you need. Installed about a month ago and completely eliminated the leak. This seems to be a common problem on older VWs. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward, just unscrewing a few clamps and screws.

A simple replacement is to drain the coolant. , remove the pair of coolant hoses along with the coolant temperature sensor, and the flange is held in place by only two socket head cap screws.
