Sensor error

Device replaced with this one after resetting code p1145. The code stayed and a new code p0021 appeared. I went to the dealer to fix it, they diagnosed and replaced this unit with a Nissan unit. Problem solved. Expensive lesson not to sell aftermarket automotive electronics parts.

Pros
  • Accurate form, fit and function including magnet strength
Cons
  • Requires socket

Worked for 2 years and failed.

Two of these were purchased 2 years and 14,000 miles ago and one recently didn't give me the same code that caused me to replace them the first time. I understand that even factory units fail over time. I really expected them to last longer.

Pros
  • Includes corrosion resistant connectors and covers
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Most people forget that part and then go to the dealer who bills for the new part and then manually clears the code. Cha-ching. Remember: the code is not cleared immediately after the…

Pros
  • Special application to ensure proper fit for your car
Cons
  • Neutral

Never worked to begin with

As a previous reviewer noted, this sensor did not work at all. I have a 2002 Pathfinder. The check engine light came on and the diagnostics showed I was getting code 1140. This code is for a sensor in bank 1 on the passenger side. I replaced my original defective sensor with this one. I cleared the codes and my code 1140 was immediately replaced with code 0011. Cleared the codes again and code 0011 came back almost immediately. I went to a Nissan dealer and bought a sensor there. After…
