This duvet is quite thin and not very big; it barely covers the top of a large bed. I wasn't expecting it to be so small so I'm a bit disappointed. The heating element works great and keeps you warm even on the lowest settings. The heat is also distributed evenly across the duvet. The thermostat is easy to use, although a bit bulky and has a bright blue light.

I would give this 5 stars but the location of the cord and controller is not very good. The blanket is on me, not under me. Since the outlets are behind my bed, the cord needs to be close to the plug, which means the corner of the blanket that the cord comes out of is on the bed to my right (I sleep on the right side of the bed) . . ). Mine worked until I tried washing and drying it which supposedly worked for me. nope As soon as I tried using it again I got the F2 message that others were getting saying it means it has stopped working and according to the manufacturer needs to be replaced. I measured my bed and thought it would only fit me - although it covers me up when I'm under the covers and that's it. I rolled out from under it at night and the hard insert is uncomfortable when it's that close. It works great as a chair or sofa, but if you intend to use it in bed, look for something bigger. For the most part the blanket is excellent. Very soft and not too heavy considering. I have yet to test the highest settings as 4 gets quite warm. I usually run it at 1 or 2. The controls are a bit odd, so if it's plugged into power without being plugged into a ceiling, the only way to recover is by unplugging it. I was skeptical when I first received the product. It's thinner than I expected and doesn't feel very warm when you turn it on.
