I have several different packs of Dip Bugs and generally love them! Any complaints I have about the product are outweighed by the affordability. I have found that lighter colored powders are slightly thinner and break slightly more easily than darker colors, although I suspect this is not a trait of bugs but of all dip powders. Wow! I will never enter the salon again. It's worth every penny. You don't have to wait for the top coat to dry either, as it dries fairly quickly - so fast you won't even notice. This is an amazing quality powder and this is my first time using it and I've always wanted my nails at home to be as thick and shiny as they are now. Polish doesn't do this, but it does. I originally intended to give this product 5/5 stars but after using the product for a few weeks I noticed that the dent disappeared a few days to a week after the application began to rise. Not sure if this is an issue with their binding/base formula or what the problem is. Even though it doesn't come with its own dehydrator and primer, I still remove the shine from my nails and dehydrate them to remove all [natural] oils. I like the product myself but I've tried making tips with dip instead of acrylic or gel and they barely lasted a day and I liked 4 layers and a gel top. I even used a professional drill and bug glue for the tips and prepped my nails accordingly. Used twice, not thrilled now. I prefer polygel. Suitable for the basic manicure but not for me.

Not a bad product. I gave it a 4 because the top coat brush hardened almost immediately and the activator you can hear is liquid but feels dry. Also the instructions don't mention translucent powder for the bottom and top layer between the colors. everything is good, it was strange to make them yourself, there is definitely a lot to learn!

Unfortunately I somehow received a product that turned out to be a fake. Most of the protective seals were lost (not just broken) on the powders, some accessories were missing (nail file and cuticle remover), there was what appeared to be a powder on the brush as if it had been used, one of the bottles appeared to have leaked, when the hardened contents caused the foam to stick to the box and the packaging box looked like it had known better days outside. I've never made a scoop myself, but I really wanted to try it. I used to paint my nails pink and white every month, but I stopped because it was very expensive. I taught myself how to do a french manicure but it took forever and didn't last long. I just did this yesterday so can't speak to durability yet but they seem pretty solid.
