These brushes are ideal for cleaning around the natural nail. Unfortunately I bought these thinking I could use them to apply acrylic nail powder with monomer liquid. I am a beginner and this is my first time trying to do acrylic nails at home. The bristles on these brushes separated quickly and almost hardened within 30 seconds of use. They were difficult to clean! Beetles must indicate in the description that they are not suitable for acrylic nails. Newbies like me are fooled by the purchase.

This set is really good. I love how many brush sizes are included and let's be honest the colors are awesome! It's great but so many good quality brushes for a low price. But in general I'm a fan of the Beetles, all of their products I've used have been fantastic. The only thing I don't like is that nice colors disappear with alcohol, acetone or monomer. To keep your lovely new brushes looking like candy, I suggest applying a thin coat of hard (non-absorbent) gel to the handle before use.

Terrible TERRIBLE DO NOT BUY! It's DEFINITELY NOT "for beginners" because we don't even know how to work with a quality brush because we're still learning! But that!?
