They are a little thinner than my other brands "others " but work well enough.

I ordered these after reading a lot of reviews (as I always do before any purchase) and wondering how so many people could have a problem with a small hole (to hang them on); I mean I've had VERY similar ones (with a hole) and never had a problem. But then I took them out and once out of MANY uses I also accidentally grabbed them by the 'hole' area and burned myself for a while. Easily holds hot food

These are the first silicone oven mitts I've ever owned and I absolutely love them! My favorite feature is that they stick really well, especially on round pans that don't have handles. I shared a potholder with my mom, and on Thanksgiving at my parents' house we were arguing about who would take the handleless pot off the table because nobody wanted because they were afraid of dropping it on the floor! These oven mitts are ideal for picking up hot or fried food.

These oven mitts are ideal for picking up hot or casserole dishes and also make a very nice trivet for kettles or saucepans. I've used mine in hot ovens and microwaves with no problem and they stick to the utensils I use them on. Originally I bought them for my kettle but I thought I would use them for casseroles and hot dishes which surprised and amazed me at the helpfulness heat they can handle you can with this brand they promise just do nothing wrong and do what the description says.
