Chinese washer hoses

I originally did a search for Oatey branded hoses.The last Oatey branded washer hoses I purchased were made in the `GOOD O'l USA.NOT Chinese like these "crappy" hoses are.I did NOT want Chinese hoses, BUT that is what I received.Shipping charges to return them would exceed half or better of the price I paid for these.Just "threw them aside". I got blistered! I'm NOT a "happy camper" with these.Guess I'll just have to sit on my "blister" and watch to see which way it splatters.I'll know better…

Color Coded easy install

Like the color coding. Looks nice and made it easy to match up in the tight space between the wall and washer. The old hoses were severely corroded, which shouldn't be a problem with the stainless steel construction.

Work excellent: my feedback

Great length for our application. Like that they are colored. 90 deg fitting recommended by GE washer manual and worked great for that placement allowing for a tight clearance in the back maximizing space in front.

Well made hose set that feels solid once installed.

We used this kit to install our new washer and dryer into a fairly cramped cabinet. The hose kit worked well as could be expected, though the 90° side was fairly tricky as you had to line everything up perfectly or the fitting would push out the rubber washer and then I'd have to fish it out from behind the washer. After a couple of attempts, it went just fine and the build quality of the hoses is solid.

Fast,Easy Install & Worked!

Been having a leak for months and just been lazy. finally I just ordered these. took me 2 mins easy to install with Red and Blue being obvious Hot n cold. I'd recommend

Superior construction

Washers (and dryers with steam) come with merely adequate rubber hoses that deteriorate within a few years. The rule of thumb is to -- at a minimum -- replace them within five years. The recommendation is to replace them with stronger, braided stainless steel hoses. These fit the bill. In addition, the red and blue color helps eliminate the problem of mixing up the hoses. These are superior hoses and fittings and should last a good, long time without leaking.

Heavy duty washer hoses.

Used these on my washer. Heavy duty. They look and feel very durable. Much much better than the rubber hoses. That's my feedback.

Made in China - my new review

I looked at the website for these and they appear to be American made, they are not. They seem to have a smaller inside diameter when compared to my old stainless hoses and they are very stiff. I imagine the outside coating makes them tougher to get straight than non coated. Overall they fit and didn't leak, they look nice as well. Quality and durability are yet to be seen, hopefully they last.

Well constructed with good fittings

The fittings are very nice on these. They screwed on easily and sealed up well. I found the hoses to be a bit stiff and difficult to straighten out. Some folks might be okay with that. Depends on how you like to tidy things up behind the machine.

Very Satisfied on my review.

Good quality, 90 degree elbows work great on back of my Whirlpool HE extra large front loader washing machine. 4' length is great so there is not a lot of extra hose hanging. Suggest Apollo Valves 45 degree to install on valves from wall to hoses to reduce any stress to hoses and allows washer to be closer to wall without stress, rubbing or bending hoses. Works well with matching brand of steam hook up to dryer. No leaks, well packaged. No issues with water flow, sounds or operation to HE…

Good hoses, . but - my new review

So, the best hoses will have 100% stainless end fittings. Finding such is about impossible. This set has one end with plated brass and the other end has non-plated insert. If you have hard water coming into your washer then the non-plated brass will likely corrode way faster then you expect. Stainless braided hoses are no better than quality rubber (EPDM) hoses. Very High Quality: my feedback

These hoses were the only ones I could find with a burst rating. It is 1,500 PSI and with typical home water pressure around 60 PSI I like the confidence I have that they will not leak. Very important with a first floor laundry!Very well made - inner liner, then the stainless steel braid, and finally the color coded outer layer. Really like the 90 degree feature on the one end that allowed me to get the washer right up to the wall for a very nice looking install.
