Description of Labmat Bench Liner F24675 0000 by Bel Art

Accelerates the cleaning process; liner speeds clean-up and safeguards work surfaces from stains, spills and wear. Bendable polyethylene film backing prevents solutions soaking through and will not slip on bench top. Highly absorbent top layer traps water, dyes, corrosive chemicals and radioactive solutions. Dispenses from 15m (50ft) roll. The flexible polyethylene film backing is non-skid and prevents soak-through of most solutions; for the rolls, the desired footage is easily cut with scissors while roll is retained in dispenser.

Forget the lab. I just posted some to paint and they are spot on for the width and lightness. Spills seep through the top layer and "appear" on the bottom layer so it doesn't seem to be holding anything back, but when you touch the backing it's dry. There are no instructions but you can see that one side is soft and absorbent while the other is shiny and repellent. Lay it shiny side down and you're done. This box is a dispenser in case you didn't know. Cut off the required amount with scissors,

Pros
  • The backing made of flexible polyethylene foil prevents spilling of solutions and does not slide on the tabletop.
Cons
  • Some errors.

I originally bought this for my partner's tattoo parlor but found it so versatile at home and at work that I left it alone. It's not designed for heavy use, but it's a thin, absorbent sheet covered with a thin plastic film, making it great for smaller spills or frequent replacements in frequent/heavy spill areas. I really wish it had a serrated cutter; then it would easily be 5 stars. Here's where I use it: - When I'm slicing a large batch of raw chicken and packing it in the freezer and want…

Pros
  • Issued from a 15m (50ft) roll

Absorbs a lot of liquid and protects table surfaces

All in all this lab bench pad is a good product. The liner does a good job of preventing soaking and contamination from liquids and chemicals that are compatible with the polyethylene backing. The liner also provides a limited amount of wicking fluid for smaller spills. The lining also generates minimal lint or dust, which is a huge plus. In other words, it's a thin coating for any surface where chemicals and liquids are used. The PE liner also helps keep the bench in place and prevent it from…
