Great product for RG11

Used to shorten the Comcast RG11 cable. Worked great. I was concerned that the center wire wasn't sticking out, but it came out with compression. This is the real deal, not a cheap copy you know where from. See PPC-online for installation videos.

Pros
  • Great for DIY kits
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Perfect. Highly recommended

Good value for money. I bought a good RG11 crimping tool and a wire stripper. Be sure to follow the instructions to fully insert the stripped RG11 1/4"x1/4" cable until the mark on the cable is fully within the connector's compression ring.

Pros
  • Reduces QAM errors/packet loss
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Works great, professional quality

At first I thought the pins were missing but found that they pop out when the connector is squeezed becomes. They are easy to install with the right stripping and compression tools. If the pins don't come out completely, either install the fitting or re-cut and re-strip the wire.

Pros
  • Unique 7/16" nut profile allows for hand tightening, wrenches not recommended for CPE
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great F connector Be careful when stripping coax cables

This is a great RG11 F connector It is VERY long compared to RG6; So you need to have a longer center conductor to work. In my case - due to lack of experience with RG11 - I wasted two of these connectors as when using my coax cable tester I got the cable OPEN (red light). On the third try I cut the center wire twice as long as the RG6 and everything worked fine without damaging the connector pin. Oddly enough, I had a good signal with a short inner conductor, but there was no voltage at my…

Pros
  • Prevents maintenance problems due to loose connections
Cons
  • Not for everyone
