Bell+Howell Clever Grip MAX - Portable Phone 📱 Mount for iPhone 6, 6 PLUS & Most Smart Phones Review

purchased a used product listed as Clever Grip Max but it was not the max size. Works great if you have a smaller phone, but I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it doesn't open wide enough to fit my phone. I have bought many Max smart grippers for myself and my family and they are amazing. I gave this a 3 start because it was incorrectly advertised as the max size.

My second and last. At first glance a nice product. Never lost an iPhone, rotates 90 degrees. Then it began to fall apart; eventually the metal clip locked in the rubber grip came loose and it just stopped holding and fell off the dashboard. The latter was only (3) months old. I would like to contact MFG. But instead I am writing this review.

Works as described. Like the easy access, hands-free calling and navigation to view/listen. I wish the product had an accessory to extend the holder under the vent. In summer it blocks cool air and the phone gets so cold when I finally take it out even after short trips. Because of this, I'm not sure I can use it in the winter without damaging my phone with prolonged heat stroke.

The holder is attached to the air vent of the car with two small pins. These pins slide over the ventilation rib. If your air vents and vents are not in one piece, please do not purchase this item. I tried that and completely broke the vent on my Audi A3. Very expensive repair. It also doesn't hold my iPhone 6plus properly, my case is pretty thin. This can work if you don't use a case. After destroying the vent, I threw it in the trash.

This is the best little phone holder I have ever seen. I have an iPhone 6+ with an Otterbox case (very large) and it fits! It's perfect for hands-free calls: just turn on the speaker. The main reason I bought it was for the directions. It fits perfectly in my air vents and holds my heavy iPhone with no issues. It's a lot safer than looking down. I bought them as stockings for the whole family. Unfortunately it didn't work in my son's car. I drive a Honda Pilot and it's perfect.

This portable phone holder is well made and much more durable than the first Lamicall Air Vent Clip Holder I bought. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phone in an Otterbox case. Less than a week later, Lamikol collapsed. The Bell+Howell clip is perfect for your phone and Otterbox case. It's made of a much more durable plastic than Lamicall. It is also perfect for bleeding my VW Jetta SEL. I'm glad I read the previous comments/ratings. I strongly recommend buying this product!

Suggest that since Samsung 8 has an extended glass edge, you want to use a good cell cover to protect the glass, The Bell is very strong and durable. This phone mount works great with my iPhone 6s+ in the Incipio Slim case. I tried the Galaxy s5 in an Otterbox Commuter case and the case makes this combination too thick. As for the heat issue, I hate having hot air blowing on my face, so I almost never use the dash fans in the winter. I prefer to run my car heater on a mix of floor and defroster or just on the floor.
