Will not work with vents and fins that are not fixed parts or with an iPhone 6 Plus in a case (even a fairly thin one).
The holder is attached to the air vent of the car with two small pins. These pins slide over the ventilation rib. If your air vents and vents are not in one piece, please do not purchase this item. I tried that and completely broke the vent on my Audi A3. Very expensive repair. It also doesn't hold my iPhone 6plus properly, my case is pretty thin. This can work if you don't use a case. After destroying the vent, I threw it in the trash.
