I ordered large according to the size chart. While it only seemed snug, after 45 minutes to an hour it starts to be painful. So maybe I would rate it a 5 if I ordered a larger size. The fold down sun visor is a great feature and it took me a while to get used to the sun visor but now I think it's a good thing. The helmet is well made and I recommend it to anyone who wants an open face helmet.

PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING. My bowler hat is the lowest end of a medium size at the widest point. I read it ran small so I ordered a large one. The big one fits perfectly. It couldn't fit better and is very comfortable. The ventilation works great. I only wish they had made it with a quick release strap that would make it 100% perfect. This is the best helmet you can get without spending $400 or more.

Perfectly measured my size. Ordered the correct size (58.5C) and the large size was very tight. I had to stop on my first ride, take off my helmet and go home to get another helmet. After a few hundred miles here are my thoughts. Pros: Comfort and fit are very good. Of the four helmets I own, this is the quietest, even compared to a full face helmet. Cons: The vents don't seem to make a difference. I love the idea of the fold-down sun visor and face shield, but those features are disappointing. I don't know why this helmet is called "male" as it is great for my wife. I also have this model (black) with a SENA 10 clamp set. I had to go elsewhere to get a clamp set (microphone, speaker, mount) made specifically for this helmet and sold (tagged) through Bell. An extra $40 but I knew it was coming.
