Amazing! You can punch through any fabric for a while. I was a bit worried when I read the description that said it can only punch holes in hard material. But I've used this tool on my polyester blend gym shorts and canvas shorts, it punches a hole through. And my favorite is neon lime green. The color was accurate. I ordered another box of neon green grommets but they came out awful. He returned it. I ordered this one and am very happy with it! I recommend this product.

I hoped they would be great. However, I had to contact the seller before I got a third of the way as I couldn't get the edges smooth. They also fold on their own to form another sharp edge. I use this product to make jar lids. I use 5 per item. I've noticed that I don't have a metal backing for all 400 grommets. in the first two sets I received. did not get 400 spins. So now upon receipt I need to count the backs and some defective ones. I have just ordered and received 4 more sets and I need to count them to make sure I get 400 metal backs. INDEED. Ordered this kit thinking of fixing up a pair of OLD lace up shoes. However, it can only be my fault for what purpose I used this kit for and not the actual "fault" of the item itself. There was no way to get the eyelets and buckles to "place" in the boots and stay put" as I started threading the laces through them. At first I thought this kit would be a convenient and relatively easy, inexpensive way to add eyelets to my various shoes and sneakers with exposed lace holes. I was very happy with the results until after about a month I noticed that the eyelets were corroding leaving orange-brown rust stains on the laces and on the leather or fabric surrounding each eyelet.
