👧 BERN Kid's Nina Helmet with Flippable Visor Review

Chic helmet. Size S/M fits my average 8 year old perfectly. The helmet fits tight but is comfortable and easy to adjust. It looks cool and is well padded for comfort. We've had many different brands of helmets that have never fitted perfectly and I'm so glad someone pointed this one out to me. My daughter loves wearing it and I'm sure it will suit her safety.

If you are looking for style this is the buy you are looking for. Beautiful classic helmet look with visor, silhouette of American cocky devil/parachutist/skateboarder/athlete. one and a half times stronger and thicker, but Bern Kids Nina has more cushioning. Overall I'm just glad my niece loves her new helmet!

Our daughter has been using this for 15 months she doesn't want to take it off right away (big plus!) and she doesn't seem to be sweating or get upset while driving for up to an hour. Can't comment on the drop performance, but it feels just as reliable and protective as Bern's adult helmets, which are great too. It looks very cute, but no one can tell if it's a strawberry, a watermelon, or a ladybug.

My 3 year old daughter recently outgrew her crazy helmet which was a great helmet but my daughter never liked wearing it. We decided on a Nina Bern helmet and it fits perfectly, there is still room for improvement! The quality is amazing and everyone always comments how cute it is! Strawberry - Showstopper. The best part is that she LOVES wearing it. We do not object to her wearing a helmet when riding her scooter or bicycle. Can only recommend this helmet!

After struggling with several 'highly recommended' toddler helmets this was a breath of fresh air. The helmet is really comfortable (my 20 month old never tugged on it in the 2 hour ride). It may not show up in the photos, but it has an internal "cap" that essentially gives it a very low-profile fit. no pressure points. The adjustable strap at the back is very easy and the retractable hem does a great job of protecting my little one's face from the sun. This is an excellent helmet.

This is the best helmet in my opinion. The fit is exceptional for my 3 year old daughter. She hasn't hit her head riding her mic, but I'm sure it will hold up and do a good job if she does. Strawberry is so cute and the xs/s are perfect on her head! An article I read said that the Berns and Psychos helmets were not up to standard, but I'm not sure they took into account the type of activity and dexterity of the child. For more extreme or aggressive riding, I would recommend the signature bowler

Love this helmet for my little one! She had a really cheap, unbranded helmet that kept slipping over her head. This one stays in place, has nice thick padding and is a lot more comfortable according to my daughter. The size is easy to adjust with the white Velcro on the back (seen here in one of my photos). LOVE this helmet. I have a child on the spectrum, everything worries her (itching, rubbing, tightness). This helmet was a hit all summer long. It's not too hot but well padded. The visor is enough to protect your eyes from the sun. Everyone tells us how they like it. She can zip and unzip it herself by the age of 5. It's easy to set up and we have plenty of room to grow.
