Really useful low cut clamp

Needed a low cut clamp to secure equipment to a rounded edge stainless steel table. So happy I found this combination of deep throat and narrow collar.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Updates

It's good to have Deeper Throat C-Clamps.

I have a collection of C-Clamps & Spring Clamp from small to large. I've found more use in the smaller C clamps that work with plybd and 2x4. I didn't have enough deep throats on hand, I could have used a few more.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Negative gift

Bessey CM34DR 3 " x 4-1/2 " Deep Reach Flex C-Clamp

I needed a deeper neck clamp for repair work. It's a nice well made clamp with the neck size I wanted but it's too heavy I needed clamp pressure not weight. I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for. My fault for not understanding the weight factor. Suitable for carpentry etc. The thread is well cut.

Pros
  • Nicely Packaged
Cons
  • Functionality

Wanted this clamp so I can clamp 2 pieces. of 2x material BUT it won't. 2x nominal 1.5" stock cannot be held by these clips. The clamps will open to about 2.9" with only some force. I bought 6 of these and they are all the same. Do not buy if you have a full one want 3 inch opening!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fixed jaw not square

As other reviewers have noted, this is not a 3" clamp, it is a 2-3/4" clamp. The clamp I received has the fixed jaw tilted to one side, about 5-8 degrees. I expect this won't matter much for regular home projects, but for precise gluing, a clamp like this will put lateral pressure and potentially dislodge parts. It's not an expensive clip (a comparable HFT device costs less than half that), but it's certainly cheaply made.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No power

Non-Square Fixed Jaw

The clamp I received has the fixed jaw tilted to one side, about 5-8 degrees. I guess for normal home projects it doesn't matter, but for precision gluing such a clamp will apply lateral pressure and potentially dislodge parts. It's not an expensive clip (a comparable HFT device costs less than half that), but it's certainly cheaply made.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Not sure
