They are the easiest to open and punch. I've tried so many brands and they beat them all! They have a pleasant smell that masks the odor but the smell is not overpowering. The tab on each new roll pulls off very easily, so you don't waste a bag pulling off! They are strong (we have a 60# dog). I haven't lost a single bag through marriage. I actually use them every day to clean my cat's litter box. If I live in a small apartment and eat out most of the time, the garbage can get very smelly if I try to wait for the garbage bag to be full before taking it out.
