I have this on a monopod/reed. With a small grip, it's nice not to put any pressure on the camera by rotating it on the ball head.

Great for the price. Easy to use and holds a good weight. I bought it for the slider and am very happy so far. It is also easy to disassemble for packing. For the price I think it's a good buy.

I use two cameras on a tripod and getting them in the right position has always been a challenge. I would use small pieces of cardboard, rubber bands, great pain. Now, with this product, I can install each one separately.

We use this with a webcam on a microphone stand for church services. It runs smoother than many tripods I've used and has some nice touches. It runs almost as smooth as a liquid head. The only suggested improvement would be a larger nut to tighten on the stand. If this one comes loose, it unscrews instead of pivoting.

This would be a great addition to a cellphone or small pocket camera. Once it reaches the full size chamber, the head doesn't prevent the weight from falling off if you don't tighten it properly. Again, the stylus is too small for actual use unless used on a cell phone or pocket camera rather than a professional or consumer camera.

The ball lock moves up and down in the head housing. I'm not saying the ball itself is loose. The whole knot that fixes the ball moves up and down which I have. Definitely not suitable for the camera. Too bad, because the material and workmanship seem to be good. I think I'll set it up to work with Flash at some point.

First of all. This head isn't as big as I thought it would be, but I'm still very impressed with the quality of the device. It runs very smoothly and is held onto the large knob with little friction (and you can tighten the knob to really lock it in place if needed). This is a really well made tripod head, way better than you would expect for the money.

It's well made but not used for a DSLR, you might squeak on videos but not stills, that's what these types of tripod heads are actually made for video that's why they're called panorama, if you're taking still pictures you need one ball head. This is the only one I've found that has a handle that can be used as a pan head, which can be used as a pan head, decent strength when panning. I was surprised at the smoothness of this head! Not sure how good the settings are, but it works fine for my camera. I plan to use it as a compact video head. I'm not saying it will be any better than a liquid head, but for a ball head it's very smooth. I needed something small and compact that I could use for light video. If it fits your goals, you can't go wrong for the money.
