Description of BETAFPV Meteor65 Lite Brushless Whoop Drone Frsky FCC D8 | 0802SE 19500KV Motors | C02 Camera | FPV Racing Quadcopter

Equipped with the BT2.0 connector, Lite 1S FC, and 0802SE 19500KV motors, this quad gives plenty of power that pilots can totally use the indoor spaces as a small-scale acro playground. Pre-soldered the BT2.0 cable, which can provide a more stable and powerful 9A continuous current and 15A burst. For minimizing weight and optimal performance, it applies the perfect lightest combo with Lite 1S FC and C02 camera. Meteor65 lower profile frame is reduced 0.75g to 3.08g only. The battery slot is closer to the center of gravity for a smoother flying experience, and you will land on the motor screws instead of the battery. Package comes with 2 lipo batteries, a BT2.0 charger & tester, an extra 1 set of props, 1 screwdriver, and a portable bag.

Don't mess with it

The seller didn't say this was an old generic flight controller board running Silverware firmware. This was nothing short of a headache and still doesn't work properly with the D8 protocol. It tethers to my receiver but every time I turn it on it goes haywire and since it's running on Silverware firmware I can't fix this problem in Betaflight.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • So far so good

Amazing speed, a little dated

This is a fun little drone, but it can't be configured in Betaflight. It uses the discontinued Lite AIO FC. If you're looking for an easy way to get into a hoot then that's fine, but spend a few bucks more and get the Meteor65 Acro. In fact, I replaced the Lites Flight Controller with the one in the Acro and now it's almost identical. Betafpv makes great little whoops, I really recommend them.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Seniors

The easiest way to start FPV is with BetaFpv 65 lite

If you are starting FPV I recommend this Tinywhoop. It is very agile and flies very accurately. Pairing with my Jumper T-lite in D8 mode was easy. I have now made some mods which I also recommend by soldering the gnb27 connector. It increases the flight time from 550 mAh to 7 minutes. Absolutely acro. Strike and still fly like a champion. My choice is between the betafpv meteor65 lite and the emax nanohawk durability test. Meteors all day.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No car
