BH Motor Carburetor Kohler 20 853 33 S Courage Review

Emulsion tube seal (steel ball) on top vent. I had to glue and apply sealant to keep the vacuum from leaking. I also had to drill the main jet to get it working. Not the best Chinese carburetor I've bought.

I should have bought this a long time ago instead of trying to mess with my old carburetor on my Husqvarna self-propelled lawnmower. It was a very easy replacement for this one and one day the mower started up immediately and stably.

Fits Troy Bilt Bronco. This carburetor was 4 times cheaper than a Nikki Kohler carburetor. The only part that didn't come with the new plastic carb bushing that helps hold the throttle cable.

Removed the old carburetor, installed this in about 20 minutes from start to finish. The only thing missing was a small plastic bushing on one of the control levers, just a reused old one. Started after 2.5 seconds cranking. worth your money.

Fits my tractor perfectly. Easy to install and worked for me right out of the box. It was a pleasure working with the seller. Reasonable price, well packaged and fast delivery. Will recommend them and will buy from them again if the need arises.

This carburetor will NOT work in the Courage SV540. I turn it on and the mower idles but shuts off completely when you turn on the blades. This is classic false advertising, looks completely different from the real thing and will NOT work on this mower, it's out of fuel.

The engine has never worked well with this carburettor but wanted to use it because the mower it is fitted on is an '08 model and has at most a few years to run. The engine stops, no adjustment helps. After only 6 uses mowing 1/2 acre of the yard the needle valve stayed open flooding the engine. This carbohydrate is garbage. Restore your original Koehler. If that's too far, get a different Koehler carburetor. If it's too expensive, don't buy it.

Uses this carburetor on a 2006 Toro Super Bronco. The nozzle in the original carburetor is not removable, so it is extremely difficult to clean it ... especially after gasoline has frozen in it for more than 2 years of inactivity. I've cleaned and cleaned but still won't start. Got this carb with the included gaskets (which I also needed) along with another tuning kit. Voila! She runs.
