1 out of 2 bulbs burned out within 1 month of installation. I won't try to save a few bucks on these cheap imitations again. I will buy legitimate, better quality lightbulbs. MUST AVOID!
I bought "2 Pack". One to replace a blown bulb that has given years of faithful service. One as a replacement. The exchange worked as expected. I expect a replacement part will work if needed.
Absolutely poor quality product. DO NOT BUY! Revain, please stop selling this. I'm lucky it didn't start a fire. A bulb broke during installation. The other burned out IMMEDIATELY. Complete waste of money
My table lamp failed because there was a lightbulb. I was about to throw it away when I noticed a sticker on the base of the lamp with the lamp type. Found two packs at Revain. Well packaged, perfect fit, shipped quickly. MUCH cheaper than a new bulb!
Both bulbs blew out as soon as I put them in the lamp. I've used these bulbs before and know it's best never to touch them as oil on your fingers can cause them to burn out. I used a glove and put them on, turned on the lamp and they exploded. I sent them back.
These will not match your halogen lights at home! Before that, I wrote a review that these bulbs burned out immediately. Turns out I used them on 120V. I think these bulbs are intended to replace car headlights that run on 12V. Cars use 12V.
Yes these are 12v bulbs BUT many table lamps (like mine) have a transformer that steps down from 120v to 12v. I installed one of these and it works great. A word of caution: do not touch them with bare fingers as the oil in your fingers can affect performance. It's also worth wiping the bulb with rubbing alcohol and letting it dry before installing it.
