Very bright headlamp

This is a very bright headlamp. It's a bit difficult to install due to the size, but don't force it. Plug eventually finds a place where he's happy. You just have to be patient. Perfomance? At least 1000 times better than the halogen bulb I used. Actually, it's not shit. Very bright and clear white light. Not a glow, but a WHITE light. For that much money I couldn't be happier as long as he keeps working the way he is doing now.

Nice bright white light!

I was looking for a cost effective alternative to the Sportster 1200 Roadster with amber lighting for better evening/night visibility. In the photo, the difference is only in the battery (the key is on, the low beam), the high beam is even brighter. Installation was easy: remove the trim ring clamp screw/nut, remove the standard bulb, install the LED block and replace the clamp ring and fastener. What a difference in visible light on the garage floor and wall.

Fantastically bright and plug and play.

There is an older motorcycle - 93 Harley Sportster. I just pulled out an old lightbulb, put this in and wow daylight. Since on the old bike they shoved all the wires into the headlight housing, it's a bit fiddly to assemble the bird's nest of wires in the right configuration to fit properly, but it wasn't too much of a chore, it just required doing a bit of pushing/ wobble when tightening the lamp rings. Works fantastic, very bright and wide pattern. Worth every penny!

Great value for money very bright fits XL1200C Not perfect

Compared to much more expensive versions this flashlight shines just as bright, maybe even brighter. But the landing is not very. I installed it on a 2008 Sportster XL1200C and no matter how hard I tried (about 1 1/2 hours) I couldn't get the light to sit flush with the body. That means the bezel will still move no matter how hard you tighten it. I don't know how that affects operation, but again, there just isn't enough room due to the lighting cord and the nature of the plug. I had to deduct…

  • Great product
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Lots of light where you need it.

This headlight is at least a hundred times better than the standard headlight. This headlight was not listed for a 1984 FXSB Lowrider so I can't blame them for the trouble I had. I moved the turn signal relay under the seat to make room for the headlight. I also had to use a wider headlight outer ring. Now it fits and looks good. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the light. I live in the country and the road there and back is narrow, winding and dark. You can see that this headlight…

Good product for parts

At first I was concerned for two reasons. First, it was much cheaper than other LED headlights. Second, I wasn't sure if it would work with the headlight modulator. And that's one of the reasons I went with the cheaper option. If it hadn't worked with the modulator I wouldn't have lost so much money. The light worked great with the modulator and the amount of light it puts out is amazing. Even in daylight, I could see the light reflecting off the street signs from a distance my regular…

Damn good buy!

I have an '05 XL883C that has been upgraded to a 1200. I've only been driving for 2 years so I've slowly been working on updating parts, swapping out small accessories here and there and taking active steps towards safer driving. One of the main items I wanted to replace was the standard LED headlight. It took me forever to finally settle on one due to careful research on features, reviews, price, website, etc. I wanted something really flashy, but didn't want to pay "really flashy" prices…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Good but not great

2007 Honda Shadow VT1100 Ghost.

The installation instructions weren't fantastic, they basically say follow the service manuals to remove the light and then install the new LED downlight. I have a little laugh and then put my flashlight away, that's like mounts and all, and I ended up using JB welding to keep the light in place, which worked great btw. Once installed I took it for a ride as the sun goes down and you will see photos coming one after the other. Low beam, high beam, wash and repeat. I would say low beam is good…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Disappear
