I have a lot of Swedish candlesticks in different sizes. I bought my first candle shaper at a local health food store. Then I ordered ten for friends. Some people thought they were for sharpening the TOP of the candle and had to be told to adjust the bottom of the candle to fit different candlesticks. Calling them candlesticks is correct, but confusing. Candle size would be better.

This is a two part review: I first bought this product a few years ago. It's just a piece of plastic, but it works. It looks like a large clear plastic pencil sharpener. The wax is slowly removed until there is enough wax to fit the candlestick. I have a lot of antique candle holders of all sizes imaginable so this is a really useful article. I paid less than 7€ for it. Some people thought it should work better. For the price it's ok. Just needs a little patience. It's better to remove it…
