Bigen Powder Hair Color Chocolate Review

I don't know why I didn't try Bigen before because the color was drying out and my hair was breaking. I had so much breakage and hair loss due to dryness that my hair was left frizzy and lifeless. I used to buy this brand in a store and never encountered this problem. This is the first time I've colored my scalp and NOT my gray hair. Very disappointed, especially since I ordered 6 packs. I received it yesterday and used it this morning with very poor results.

I have been using this brand for many years. It seems to do a lot less damage than traditional dyes. I have thin, naturally blonde hair, the color is rich and beautiful. It tarnishes if I wash too often, but I paint once every 4-6 weeks or so and that's usually fine. It covers my gray hair well.

I bought 6 packs of this color I didn't use it all the time then went back to other brands but the gray hairs were getting more stubborn and this product works the best. As other people have suggested, leave it on for an hour if you have stubborn gray hair. Make sure you shampoo very well to remove it from your scalp so it doesn't itch for the first few days. No smell of ammonia. Buy packs of colored tissues to wash the color off your skin.

The formula must have been changed as it doesn't last as long as a glass bottle. But I'm still using it until I find a replacement

Bigen is the only hair color I can use on my chemically straightened hair without causing further damage. It is much softer than other peroxide hair dyes. I have used this product in different colors. I like to hide the gray strands that show up here and there. It's fun to play with different colors as they fade a bit. I strongly recommend trying it. It's good to go to their website to read up a bit about it first if you're interested. It has a strange smell that goes away after a few days.
