The straps on this projectile broke shortly after my son opened the box. Of course he doesn't want to return it as he taped it shut and is playing with it, but what a disappointment. They don't do things the way they used to. Definitely not worth $8.99 as it looks like shop dollar quality. Next time we'll make it out of cardboard.

This is the perfect addition to my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumes. It's light enough to be comfortable in and so far has been solid despite a three year old's sometimes heavy play. I had to trim the straps and reattach them, but it wasn't difficult. If anything happens to it I will definitely be back to order more!

I thought it was some kind of foam or filler but it's a thin piece of material. If it bends I think it will show an obvious crease. It's smaller but I bought it for a 4 year old. I bought this to use as a Halloween costume but also thought it might remain part of a dressing box, due to the thinness I'm not sure how long it will take before it bends or breaks.

I guess he's doing his job. Came folded, the crease will not be smoothed out. They are very thin and the straps are attached with a tiny patch of glue. I wouldn't be surprised if they fall out as soon as I put them on. For €13 I was expecting a bit more quality. You look like you came out of a dollar store. Edit: The strap REALLY snapped as soon as I put my hand in it. Naturally.

This was a disappointing purchase. Although it was cheap it wasn't worth it. The shell is thin foam - think quality from a dollar store. This makes it very fragile, doesn't keep its shape and doesn't sit properly on the back. But much more problematic were the straps. Maybe they are super glued? They're not adjustable in any way, so if you're buying them for a child, they won't last. The first time my son wore it, one of the straps came loose. I pasted it back.
