This was a disappointing purchase. Although it was cheap it wasn't worth it. The shell is thin foam - think quality from a dollar store. This makes it very fragile, doesn't keep its shape and doesn't sit properly on the back. But much more problematic were the straps. Maybe they are super glued? They're not adjustable in any way, so if you're buying them for a child, they won't last. The first time my son wore it, one of the straps came loose. I pasted it back. The second time the other strap came loose. It's just very frustrating. If you have other options I would not consider this product.
